Before you send
Within business hours, you'll have an acknowledgement within 30 minutes and a scoped reply (clarifying questions or a preliminary price) within 2 hours. Out of hours, the reply lands first thing next business morning — if it's truly urgent, call the main line instead.
For common, well-defined jobs (outlet replacements, smoke alarms, Level 2 EV charger installs in standard setups, surge protection), yes — we quote from the brief and a photo if you include one. For anything involving panel access, complex cable paths, or heritage properties, we'll usually need a 20-minute on-site look before committing to a firm price.
No — for projects over $1,200 (panel upgrades, EV installs, rewiring, fit-outs), the on-site assessment is free and no-obligation. For smaller jobs where the diagnosis is part of the quote (intermittent faults, mystery trips), we charge the $129 service call and fold it into the repair if you proceed.
Clear access to your switchboard, know roughly where you want any new outlets/chargers/circuits, and have a rough sense of your budget range so we can shape the quote accordingly. Everything else we'll work out on the visit.
